Sion Adventurer Club

The Adventurer Club is the second level of the Sion Junior Youth Club Ministries. The club foster’s children of the age group 6-9 years. There are 4 separate classes run under this club. They are Busy Bee, Sunbeam, Builder, and Helping Hand. Like the Sion Discovery Club, it offers an instructional curriculum at each level that encourages an age-appropriate, active learning approach. Instead of asking children to learn a great deal of factual information, it introduces them to general concepts. They learn to apply these concepts to their own lives by participating in a wide variety of experiences that improves their social skills and make them responsible for living a Christian life. The design not only supports and assists parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teachers but also creates an opportunity for the children to belong to an organized peer group to fully develop as God’s children in today’s world. Each level builds on the levels which came before it and are specially designed to interest, challenge, and provide successful experiences for children of that grade level. The club experience will enhance their natural abilities as well as open their eyes to a wider worldview.
