Sion Discovery Club

The Discovery Club is the first level of the Sion Junior Youth Club Ministries. The club fosters children of the age group 2-5 years. There are 4 separate classes run under this club. They are Baby Birds, Little Lamb, Curious Cubs, and Eager Beavers. Each class has a well-organized curriculum to meet the needs of each age group. Lessons are taught through a variety of techniques, including workbooks, puzzles, crafts, and games.  The Club meets in a self-contained environment, and children are encouraged to begin to develop independence. Like its big brothers (Adventurers and Pathfinders) the member wear uniforms and scarves. Throughout the year children will earn awards for achievement, which will be worn on their honor sash. The Discovery Club provides the opportunity for parents to learn and grow with their children in their early, formative years. We meet every 2nd Sabbath and 4th Sunday of each month from 3 pm to 5 pm.
