The youth of High Street English Church had the opportunity to visit the “Jesus redeems ” orphanage on March 9, 2024.
The orphanage was started and is run by Brother Raju, who is committed to his calling and serves tirelessly for these kids.
We were truly inspired by his resilience, dedication, and the tremendous impact his life of sacrifice has on the people who interact with him.
The place, bustling with children, filled all our hearts with great joy. We had the privilege of spending the evening singing songs and playing Bible games with the kids. We also had a brief and engaging Bible lesson from Pastor Shelby David, followed by a health talk from our youth.
We are also grateful for the opportunity to be able to provide them with the necessary provisions.
The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the interactions with the children. The evening, we spent with the kids, singing and engaging in other activities, proved to be a great blessing to us. We realized the blessing and joy that comes with serving humanity, especially those less fortunate.
