Serve Opportunities
We have various programs and activities to encourage people to discover God, develop their spiritual lives, and help them deploy their spiritual gifts. We believe that God has called us according to His own purpose and grace, allowing us to work in His plan for the church. Take a look at some of the ministries and programs we have running and see how you can be a part of God’s work!
Adventist Youth
The Adventist Youth Ministries caters to our youth and young adults, with the purpose of arming them with the Word of God. The AY department has programs every Saturday at 5:30 pm to engage the youth of our church.
Pathfinders Club
Our Pathfinder Club is centered in the “physical-mental-spiritual tripod” which develops activities with a specific focus on religious programming to meet the needs and interests of children and adolescents between the ages of 10 and 15. According to the philosophy of the club, activities involve action, adventure, challenge, and group activities that “provide opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, team, and community spirit.”
Health Ministries
Health Ministries is concerned with the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of the church and neighborhood community. To make a lasting difference we host vegetarian cooking classes, offer seminars on disease prevention, conduct health fairs, and provide other health-related events throughout the year for all to benefit from and enjoy.
Women's Ministries
Women's Ministries exist to work as a support group and prayer group providing a place to belong in a small group setting where women can feel comfortable and have a safe place to pray and receive the support of Christian friends.
Personal Ministries
Most of the heroes of the New Testament church were evangelists. The personal ministry of Jesus in saving the lost was their role model as they sought to win new converts to Jesus Christ and to make the first century church grow. We are called to that noble heritage. Personal Ministries facilitates the recruitment, training, and oversight of volunteer soul winners and works to create an atmosphere of evangelistic outreach in the church.
Outreach Ministries
Our outreach department aims to touch people by doing what we can to our help build communities. On the last sabbath of every month the whole church participates in Compassionate Sabbath, a program where we go into the community and serve.
Family Ministries
Family Life Ministry is dedicated to assisting our church members with obtaining the tools to live victoriously as Christians. Our ministry seeks to assist youth, singles, couples, and families with issues teaching effective ways to communicate, strengthening marriages, learning positive and effective ways to parent, and how to live a victorious life as a Christian single. Our ultimate goal is to strengthen and empower our church members and our community as we prepare for Christ’s soon return.
Stewardship Ministries
The starting point of stewardship is to recognize that God initiates stewardship. He gives us life and invites us into intimate partnership. This partnership begins with accepting Jesus Christ as Savior—experiencing the joy of Salvation. This then leads us to trust Him enough to accept Him as Lord or Owner of our lives.
